The branch can't go offline.
It doesn't.

Securna deploys bonded branch networks for retail banks, microfinance and payments across the GCC — multi-WAN SD-WAN at every branch, cellular failover when the fibre cut happens, PCI-segmented surveillance backhaul, and off-site ATM connectivity. The teller terminals don't reconnect. The CCTV doesn't lose its keyframes. The card terminals keep authorising.

Where this kit goes to work

Three places banks can't afford to go offline.

Branch transaction networks, off-site ATMs, and the CCTV that's a regulatory requirement — all on the same Peplink stack, managed centrally from InControl.

Branch SD-WAN

Bonded fibre + cellular at every branch, with sub-second Hot Failover when the primary line cuts. Teller terminals stay logged in, the core banking session doesn't reconnect, the card scheme keeps authorising. PCI-DSS segmentation enforced at the router, not bolted on later.

Typical kit: Peplink Balance at the branch · embedded 5G failover · PCI segment VLAN · InControl + SpeedFusion VPN to core

ATM Network & Off-site Endpoints

Off-site ATMs at malls, hospitals, fuel stations and remote branches — primary cellular backhaul into the bank core, multi-SIM failover so a single carrier outage doesn't strand the ATM. Compact, secure, manageable from one dashboard regardless of count.

Typical kit: Peplink BR1 / B One 5G at the ATM · dual-SIM multi-carrier · encrypted SpeedFusion VPN · InControl at scale

Branch & ATM Surveillance Backhaul

CCTV at every branch and ATM that the regulator and the insurer expect to be online and recording. Anywhere Networks wireless backhaul where running a CCTV cable to head office isn't viable, with dedicated VLANs so video doesn't compete with transaction traffic.

Typical kit: Anywhere Networks wireless backhaul · Peplink SD-Switch · segmented CCTV VLAN · long-retention storage at HQ
What banks need from the network

Three reasons the branch stays online.

Transactions don't tolerate latency. Auditors don't tolerate gaps. Customers don't tolerate a closed sign. The kit Securna deploys is engineered around all three.

Sub-second failover

Packet-level Hot Failover. Fibre to the branch is cut, cellular takes the session inside the same TCP/UDP connection. The teller doesn't relog. The card scheme doesn't time out. The branch never publishes a "system down" sign.

PCI-DSS segmentation at the edge

Cardholder data on its own VLAN, enforced at the router. Transaction traffic is segmented from staff Wi-Fi, guest Wi-Fi, CCTV and IoT — at the Peplink router, not bolted on with a chain of firewalls. Simpler audits, smaller scope.

Branch & ATM visibility · InControl

One dashboard. Every branch, every ATM. Live status across hundreds or thousands of endpoints — link health, modem health, throughput, configuration drift. Push config remotely. See which ATM is on which carrier, which branch is running degraded.

Bonding is provided by Peplink's SpeedFusion technology. Satellite integration via Peplink × Starlink.

Hardware shortlist

What we deploy at the branch and ATM.

Peplink for the routing and management, Anywhere Networks for the wireless CCTV backhaul — both stocked in the GCC, both supported by Securna's engineering team.

Peplink Balance 5000 EC
For · Bank HQ & datacentre

Balance 5000 EC

Carrier-class multi-WAN SD-WAN for the bank's HQ and datacentre core. Modular WAN slots, 40 Gbps backplane, hardware redundancy. Built for the central site that aggregates every branch and ATM tunnel back through SpeedFusion.

Peplink B One 5G
For · Standard branches & ATMs

B One 5G

The high-volume branch and ATM router. Embedded 5G plus fibre WAN, SpeedFusion VPN to the bank core, PCI segmentation, GPS for asset tracking. Compact, ATM-cabinet friendly, managed centrally.

Peplink MAX BR2
For · ATM cabinets

MAX BR2

The ATM-cabinet router. Dual cellular for multi-carrier failover, compact form factor that drops into a standard ATM enclosure, GPS for asset tracking, SpeedFusion VPN to the bank core. The standard choice when the ATM site won't be running Wi-Fi or fibre.
